About SpotRentt
Renting breaks when every handoff starts from zero.
Vacancy lives in one place, viewing arrangements in another, leases in files, rent evidence in M-Pesa messages, maintenance in WhatsApp, and moving in a fresh round of phone calls. SpotRentt gives each participant the right app while keeping the shared record connected.
Product principles
Four boundaries shape the platform.
These are product decisions a visitor can feel, not implementation details hidden behind the interface.
Principle 01
Vacancy must have an owner
A property team marks a unit vacant, and the tenancy workflow changes its state when it becomes occupied.
Principle 02
Private details stay protected
Exact coordinates and direct contact are not public listing fields. A defined unlock grants access for one unit.
Principle 03
Rent belongs between tenant and landlord
SpotRentt records the submitted claim and property-team confirmation without receiving the funds.
Principle 04
Each role gets focused tools
Separate apps keep tenant, property-operation, and mover work from becoming one crowded interface.
Honest status
Core flows built. Integrated pilot still to pass.
We will not use public-launch language until the whole journey has passed its integrated gates.
Core flows built
Accounts, discovery, unlocks, applications, leases, rent claims, maintenance, moving jobs, subscriptions, and waitlist infrastructure.
Before pilot approval
Provider credentials, integrated environment checks, physical-device accessibility and recovery, support ownership, and pilot drills.
Before public launch
Every depicted gap must either ship, be clearly labelled as planned, or come off the website.
